Sun Flowers and Sail Boats

I have always had a liking for sunflowers. This is a painting that I completed recently in Queensland. The inspiration for the image comes from growing sun flowers myself in Tasmania in 2008 which was a bright success for my house on Madden St, filling my front yard with big bobbing smiling flowers that seemed to be having important conversations with one another. My inspiration also comes from the grand Vincent VanGogh and Ken Done.

Interestingly, there are a few hidden details in the painting that you might not see at first, ie, a boy walking down the path, figures on the jetty and a bird talking to a mole.

Murals of this kind painted by Ben Timmins at coolmurl.ca will not blow your budget, as contrary to the popular belief: murals are not very expensive! Depending on the needs and specification of your room, you can select from a number of designs and patterns.

Hockey murals are a good way to decorate rooms. Murals look much better than plain painted walls. They are more colorful are a better way to show your passion for hockey and your favorite hockey team.
Is your son's birthday coming around and is he a hockey fan? Then how about giving him a hockey mural painted on his room wall. Most boys would love to have a mural in their room so this may be the perfect gift for him. It will most definitely add value to your home. If you don't want the painting on your wall; order a large scale painting of the same image on stretched canvas. That way if you sell your house you can take it with you.

If the size of your room is small then you a single player mural would look good in the room, but if you room is very big then several players in on different walls. One mural spread over two walls also looks really nice.
